Jackson Choral to present Cabaret sing-along

Join the Jackson Chorale for its annual Cabaret Concert Sunday, Feb. 24 at 7:30 p.m. in the Jackson Symphony’s Weatherwax Hall, 215 W. Michigan Ave., Jackson. This year’s sing-along concert will include a medley of Disney princess songs and a medley from Annie.

Spaghetti dinner benefit for Kyle Whittemore

A benefit dinner for Kyle Whittemore will be held Saturday, Feb. 24, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Brooklyn Moose Lodge, 6807 U.S. 12 Onsted. Whittemore is a driver for Darby Ready Mix, who is currently suffering from lung cancer. Proceeds from the event will aid in paying Kyle’s medical costs and loss of income.

Chiaroscuro men’s chorus in concert

Chiaroscuro, a community men’s chorus, will present Brothers, Sing On! Sunday, Feb. 25 at 3 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Tecumseh, 211 S. Chicago Boulevard. The concert will feature a variety of music composed and arranged for four-part men’s chorus performance by nel Canto, the smaller 8-voice ambassador outreach ensemble of Chiaroscuro.


Another installment of ‘Late Nite Catechism’

It’s a safe bet – holy humor awaits when “Late Nite Catechism Las Vegas: Sister Rolls the Dice” comes to the Michael Baughman Theatre, Potter Center, at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24.

Check out Casablanca on the big screen

The Winter Film Series is held at the Michigan Theatre in downtown Jackson, 124 N. Mechanic St. The next film scheduled for viewing is “Casablanca” Monday, Feb 26 at 7:15 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m.
